"Do....Do...." Carol called Richard and no reply...again...
He never calls back when he went to have dinner or hang out with his friends. She had told him thousand of times that she doesn't care about where he goes and when he will be back, she just needed to know he is home late or early....
"Because Ron will ask, son of bitch!" Carol didn't say it but it was the pharse in her mind when she stared at her cell phone...
"Mama, where is daddy?" Ron is busy playing his stuff and asked with his shining eyes...
"Daddy is overtime working in his company." Carol smiles back and goes to the kitchen continuing preparing the dinner. The dinner that never includes Richard's meal, she taught Ron very well that he becomes a smart and polite little gentleman, wherever there is him, there is happiness.
Carol put the dinner right on the dinning table, and continues to do her revision for the tight examinations of the night courses...
She cannot bear the whole family expenses for the time being, but she is so sured that she will make it someday, she will get Ron to the best schools, and the best living, make sure he had a great childhood...
That's why she keeps where they are and everything constant, even it is painful.
She gets up for her son everyday.
Until she met Bosco...
Bosco is a young operating manager in a factory located in the same building as Carol's company, they met in one of the night courses Carol joined, they are teammates of group discussion practising.
"I think dealing with the LC procedures should be a service provided by the financial institutions, business had no volunteers to follow up the inside procedures of banks after paying the extreme high charges and interests to banks..." Carol said during the discussion time and everyone was staring at her with an unbelievable eyesight...
"I think she is totally right, that is exactly what I wanted to say about the banking services in HK." Bosco agreed and said loudly to show his support.
Then they became the best trusted friends to one another.
Bosco is her only real friend, someone she can talk to without hiding things...
But Bosco had a lot more than that, he had a happy childhood, above-averaged family background, and a lot of friends and great career.
That is something Carol cannot chase for, despites Bosco has been saying that he would be the man standing besides her if she wants...
Carol had made up her mind that she will not bring Bosco into this, she wants him happy, just watch him happy can get her more energy, another reason she gets up everyday...
Soon, they became estranged when Bosco's office moved to the building nearby, they aren't working in the same building anymore...Their only thing in common disappeared.
One day Carol came accross Bosco in the coffee shop nearby their offices.
"I am getting married next month, would you like to come for me?" Bosco said and look at Carol.
"Oh...I am not sure because I am busy all the days, but I will see if I can come, congraduations!" Carol said and refrained from tearing.
"Thanks!" Bosco said and left the cards to her.
If Carol was not married, or they met each other earlier before Ron was born, things will be different.
"Whatever, I will find someone I loved someday..." Carol believed.

A girl get in the bus and go home for his little boy, there are lots of things to do tonight.
Dinners for Ron, revisions for the exams, and preparations for the other working day.
She sometimes observed Bosco in Facebook, and found satisfaction when he found his new live pictures.
Sometimes she saw Bosco's status that he always avoids his wife and sleep in his friends place, she gave it a sigh but never go further investigate him...
And one day, Bosco sent her a message: " I should not marry to my wife, what I want was you, I couldn't believe you have no reaction at all after hearing my marriage, I thought you would stop me..."
"Time to grow up, buddy, we're all responsible for our own life."

The long term relationships are usually controlled by timing.
Carol married Richard when she was nineteen; it was like a dream last night…
She met Richard in a birthday party where almost everybody was in love with somebody, the couples made her sick and she just found Richard who was the only one single like her.
She was seventeen, good at school, but life was so boring that she had no friend in school, her school was very bad that everybody was into drugs, smoking, and pregnancies that she could not find anything in common with them, she tried to be with them once in a while, but she fought with her mother every single day that makes her really sick…
So she went back to her own way, and be what she wanted to be – a good student and remarkable person…
Then she chose to be good and lonely.
Her mother was happy, and relaxes.

Two years were gone, she was trying to step in to the job market and it was rough, the economic downturned heavily, there was a 9% unemployed percentage in the year of her guaduation, and 23% for the flesh guaduated student...
A night when she normally bored from interviewing and have no result for offering job positions, she met Richard as her friend Angel invited her for dinner with her boyfriend.
Her only friend remains from the school was Angel, they sometimes chated by phone and talk about everything, but Angel was also no good for Carol, she recommended Carol to get a man paid for her living and she personally doesn't work at all.
Angel's boyfriend was a quite old man, he was fat and rude, but owned a car and a house, the most luxurious things in 2003, when everybody was struggled for a job and bankrupcies...
The old man had couple of friends related on him for running his second hand vehicles selling company, they are uneducated and rude too....
Unfortunately, Carol had some problem with her family that made her wanted to run away from the situation, she thought all the problems were because of money...

Richard was quite an ass that he liked to cover himself and pretending he was great and brilliant while he was not, he was good at talking, but there is no action following up for what he has said.
He left a bad debt in every telecommunication network companies in Hong Kong because he signed the plans for years to get the gifts and failed to extend the contracts by paying the long term services, he also left several bad debts in different credit cards companies for not paying back the spendings by using the credit cards...
If you want to find out something good about this guy is he loves Carol, very much.
No matter what happens, he supported Carol for everything.
When Carol had problem with her family, he picks up the phone and talks to Carol's mother, a woman yelling at everybody when you argued with her for everything....
Carol cried everytime when she disagrees something with her mother, because she doesn't good at fighting.
But, Richard had left plenty of debts to Carol who helped him out when he was pushed by the debt collection companies for clearing his mess...when Carol didn't even find a stable job, she had to do everything to try to pay the monthly instalment for the debts...
Carol had thought of ending the messy relationship, but the thought disappeared when she imagined someday Richard might pay her back, or when she brought up the even worse situation of leaving Richard and back to her way desperated home, where mother and father are fighting everyday and nights, blaming her about her sister's drugs problem was all Carol's fault...

Until now I cannot find another more complicated and desperated situation for what Carol was in...
When Carol found she was someday...She decided to bet everything for the game.
"What could be more stupid? I am going to risk everything to start a new life, there is no way out, so I am going to make a way, give birth to this baby and start a better life!" Carol swore.
Did she make it?
A few years were gone, Carol & Richard got a supplimentary housing apartment from HKSAR government, they pay a low rent and raise the baby well, Richard became a better man after having the little child who was loved by everybody he met, everyone likes him, the little boy is clever, smart and cute.
Richard was happy that he worked much harder for his job and got higher income.
Carol kept joining some night courses to improve her qualifications and get a stable and permanant job...
They looked great...A perfect family.
"Mama, are you going to bring me to the kindergarden?" Ron, their 4 year-old son who is cute and smart.
Richard's relationship with his family has been improved with this little boy...
Everything is fine until Carol found out she cannot stand Richard's bad...
He was dirty, fat and doesn't care to be laughed at, and doesn't have the motive to be a better person.
Carol is getting a little succeeded in her career on the other hand, her boss trusted her, there are many handsome and brilliant young gentlemen outside...
She even hide her marriage in order to avoid bringing up her husband...
The situation is stunned, there isn't any single minute she doesn't think of a plan of getting out...
She decides to wait until her son eighteen, and she would separate with Richard and leave...
