A wake-up call (Esp. 3)

"I guess she is a doctor, see the way she uses the knife, like doing a surgery..." Anna said, she is very beautiful tonight, sitting in a high class club having dinner with Andrew...

"No, I guess she is a cook, I saw my mum doing the turkey this way in Christmas!" Andrew said.
It is the 3rd night Andrew brought her out from the night club, he bought all her working hours so she didn't have to go for work, for three days!

They hanged out for movies, dinners and sightseeing...

They eat luxury food in luxury restaurants with luxury wine, Andrew drives her around with a Benz...

Tonight, they are in a club which welcomes VIP members only, the members are required to pay deposit for a certain great amount of cash...

They just finished the dinner and sitting in the bar whispering to each other, guessing the occupations, ages of other customers...

What a fun time!

"Come on, a cook is not sitting in this place drinking the wine in 1999!" Anna held back the scream after hearing Andrew's stupid statement.

"Why not? Look at you, you are a club girl in Tsim Sha Tsui, and you bought a $5,000 dress just to get into this place. There are a lot of cooks receiving million in a year in UK!" Andrew explained, and pointed out Anna's spending in these few days was beyond her purchasing power, too...


He is a straight guy, I blame it the life spending in UK...where most people are direct, unlike Chinese, we are used to company manners.


Well, but the phrase knocked Anna's mind, heavily, like a basketball crashed her hindbrian, she was stunned...

Andrew didn't realise the shock of Anna, and continued the game... "What about the fat man sitting next to the window? He is definitely an engineer! He pointed his finger to the building for the whole night!"


"Excuse me, bathroom." Anna cannot stay there anymore, and stood up walking to the bathroom dully.


"What am I doing?" Anna tried to summarize the whole relationship with Andrew, and she was shocked when doing that...

At the beginning, Andrew was a customer to her, he is a rich collegue student, with the best conditions a boy has.

She'd love to hang out with a rich handsome guy and get paid for nothing.


It is good, isn't it?


But Anna spent almost her whole month salary to buy luxury dresses, hangbags,  and luxury shoes in three days! Just for hanging out with Andrew, for the rich people gathering places.

She suddenly remembered that she had trouble even paying the rent for this month...


In fact, Andrew never required her to do these silly things, he went out with her just for "fun", he is comfortable no matter how she dressed, he had friends from poor families too, he never cares.


Anna bought all the luxury stuff for the dates because she was feeling inferrior, for her god damn job, and the poor family background.

One more reason, she cares about Andrew, all girls show off their beauty in front of the guy they loved!


"What should I do? I must stop and treating him as other customers! Or maybe I can let him accept who I am..." Anna tried to find a solution immediately, but it was a silly one.


And she walked out of the bathroom and go back to her seat.

Guess what happen next?
